Jim Corbett Booking – Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to postpone or cancel your Jim Corbett trip, please notify us in writing (email preferred). Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive your written request.

Note: Requests received after office hours will be considered from the next working day. The tour start date is not counted in the notice period.

Standard Cancellation Charges

  • 30 days or more prior to arrival – 10% of the tour cost
  • 15 to 29 days prior to arrival – 30% of the tour cost (excluding Gypsy, Canter, Elephant safari fees)
  • 7 to 14 days prior to arrival – 40% of the tour cost (excluding Gypsy, Canter, Elephant safari fees)
  • 2 to 6 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour cost (excluding Gypsy, Canter, Elephant safari fees)
  • Less than 48 hours or no-show – No refund

Important Booking Notes

  • Guests must wait at least 24 hours for booking confirmation and vouchers. Vouchers will be sent via email, WhatsApp, SMS, or hard copy.
  • Gypsy, Canter, and Elephant safari amounts are non-refundable.
  • For three guests, one room with an extra mattress is provided.
  • Any change in government taxes, hotel charges, or safari fees will be informed prior to travel and will be payable by the guest.

Forest Lodge Reservations

For Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, or Dhela forest lodges, no refund is available once a booking is made.

Monsoon & Weather Conditions

Day-visit bookings between 1 June and 14 November are provisional and may be cancelled without prior notice for visitor safety due to weather. No refund is available if cancelled for these reasons.

Peak Season

During peak periods such as Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year, or weekends, special cancellation policies may apply. These will be communicated at the time of booking.

Full Refund Situations

If a safari cannot be booked due to technical error or seat unavailability, the entire amount will be refunded to your bank account, and you will be informed accordingly.

Liabilities & Limitations

If government authorities revise permit fees, museum charges, fuel costs, or guide charges after the booking is finalized, the difference will be charged to the guest.

We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by force majeure events such as strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic issues, hotel overbooking, or entry restrictions. While we will attempt suitable alternatives, no compensation or refund is guaranteed.

Jurisdiction

All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
